Concept: What if many of the musicians, celebrities the Internet, and who have carved a new niche in the industry to an unprecedented level of interaction fans and social media, to record an album - 8 songs in 8 hours - based on the proposals a fan of Twitter using hashtag # 8in8, stream live the entire registration process, and sell their work immediately on the Internet to explain the independence of the musicians we now have record labels with the advances in technology? What if these musicians and celebrities Internet, say, Damian Kulash, front man of the band OK Go, best known for making one of the cheapest, music and video the most captivating, the most famous of ever using the mills only? What if it had involved a Ben Folds, no stranger to making a record in one day, after writing and recording songs spoof six in one day on the basis of the existing track through the leaking of his album to normal? What if, finally, included this vital project of the couple Gaimen Amanda Palmer and Neil, and former Boston and members of local cabaret punk band known for Dresden Dolls, and the second to the British novelist and recipient of both the Newbery Medal Carnegie? Well .... Then you would have 8in8.

8in8, unfortunately, has become something of a misnomer, as the group was only able to finish of 6 songs in 12 hours, which in fact did not surprise Ben Folds, who said later in an interview with the Huffington Post, "I think six songs, twelve hours , written from scratch to the final mix, about as fast as it can go. "But regardless, the band put incredible effort that I enjoyed watching live on Ustream deep (when you really should be taught and, of course). And recording for 12 hours straight, having to appear in the early morning the next day to talk about the experience to review the music, and the preparation and then to perform the songs - unrehearsed, mind you - that evening, was exhausted by the band at the time took to the Berkeley center stage performance. But despite the fatigue, the team put on a fantastic performance for the first time and last Nighty album.
