Guns N' Roses

The Guns N 'Roses, the rock and the hard glory days in the 1980s, and Eric B. & Rakim, and one of the most influential rap groups of the era, artists were among the candidates for recruitment of 15 Rock and Roll Hall of fame next year, Hall announced this morning. Both were nominated in the first year of eligibility.


And other artists receiving nominations for the first time include Freddie King, treatment, and heart, spinners, and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. The list also includes several works which have nominated before, including the Beastie Boys, Donovan, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers and war.

The selection of candidates by 40 musicologists and critics who serve in the nominating committee room. Ballot will now be sent to a larger group of 500 musicians, critics and industry professionals who vote on them. Each year, the Hall inducts at least five artists or groups from the list. And announces that options in late November and will hold a ceremony to honor the recruits on April 14. Next year, will hold a ceremony held at the Convention Center in Cleveland, as it was in 2008.

No nomination Guns N 'Roses did not come as a surprise. Artists become eligible for the Hall of Fame 25 years after her first album or single. Many musicians and professions, which extends more than three decades, and even some Hall of Famers, is still touring and recording.
